Both side the mirror

 'Both side the Tweed'
 by Mary Black

What's the autumn-breathing golden and rose ?
What's the autumn with all its sweet smells
And the greatness of an autumn morning, to those
Who don't hear fall the leaves and the evening as well?

Let the love of our island's amber nights
To the love of this sweetness believe
Let my feelings and sofness lights
Adorn and flourish, on both sides the mirror

Listen the water of that river life
the smoothness of these cascade drops
watch Jonathan swimming in his starry ocean
relish the music of those fairy fifes

Let the love of our island become nearer
To the love of our dreams succeed
Let shiver and quiver our friendship increase
Adorn and flourish, on both sides the mirror

Let the wind tell us the memory of trees
let people relate greatness of Pearlshill's legend
close your eyes and imagine my Queen
the amber gliterring froth on the dark seas

Let the love of our island grow up inside
To the love I couldn't dare in my mind
Let music of the tender waves embrace
Adorn and flourish, on both sides the mirror

... Let the caress of the music inside, color
Adorn and flourish, on both sides the mirror
